• Protect from Heat & Light: Prolonged exposure can fade or weaken certain gems.

• Store Separately: Gemstones can scratch each other. Keep each piece in its own pouch or lined box.

How to Clean Sterling Silver Jewelry

For pieces without porous gemstones (like pearls, turquoise, or opals):

Simple Soap & Water Method

• Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water

• Soak the silver piece for 5–10 minutes

• Use a soft toothbrush or microfiber cloth to gently remove tarnish

• Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a lint-free cloth

 Baking Soda & Foil Method (for heavier tarnish)

• Line a bowl with aluminum foil, shiny side up

• Add 1 tbsp baking soda + 1 tbsp salt

• Pour in hot water and stir

• Submerge the silver piece for 2–5 minutes

• Rinse and dry thoroughly

 Avoid this method if your piece includes porous gemstones or glued settings—it can damage or loosen them.

 What to Avoid

• Harsh chemicals like bleach, ammonia, or silver dips

• Ultrasonic cleaners if your piece includes delicate stones

• Paper towels or rough cloths that can scratch the surface
